In addition to contested and uncontested child custody matters, visitation (parenting time), and child support issues related to divorce, we also work with parents who have been accused of abuse or neglect and whose children have been removed from their homes for alleged abuse, neglect or molestation. We offer case planning, case review and other related services to parents in cases involving children in need of services (CHINS) who are made wards of the court. We represent parents in this reunification process and defend parents in termination of rights cases.

We handle adoption, including stepparent adoption, and emancipation cases, and we represent juveniles charged with juvenile and adult crimes.

Probate Law, Wills, and Estate Administration

We at the Indianapolis law firm of Freedman & Associates are also accustomed to handling both estate administration and estate litigation. We also assist with end-of-life issues including health care directives, wills, powers of attorney and living wills.
